People say you can be anything you want to be in this life? not for me?

people say you can be anything you want to be in this life you just have to want it bad. ever since i was a child i have always like helping others. i have always like firefighters ..and its something in my hear that tells me i fit right in to the brotherhood of firefighting .... however i have had 20/400 vision in my right eye (uncorrectable) since birth ....i can still see a bit out of that eye. but the vision is so bad so i lose about 20$ of my "feild of vision" my doctor told me from 5 feet and further i see like any normal person with 20?20 vision but 5 feet and closer i lose 2% of my cone feild of vision ...this means i have to turn my head twice as much as normal in ball sports like soccer .....my uncle is a firfighter and he said it would be possible to be a fireman but i wouldnt be able to get a license to drive the fire engine ......do you guys think i could pursue my dream career of being a fireman or should i just give up hope?
